The roots of Implant Soul go back to 2012. At the time it was nothing more than an idea, a shape forming somewhere in the background. It stayed dormant until 2019, when a conversation with Nader Sadek gave it new life. His approach to building music through ever-changing collaborations offered a different way of thinking about creative work and helped me see my own ideas from a new perspective.

 Later that year I met Niklas Kvarforth of Shining. Our conversations confirmed something I had been feeling for a long time: there was a vision that deserved to exist. Those encounters didn’t simply inspire the project. They gave it the momentum it needed to become real.

 The concept of bringing together different voices under a single artistic identity also traces back to Tony Iommi’s first solo album, Iommi. Each guest contributed something unique while serving a larger creative vision. That philosophy became one of the foundations of Implant Soul.

 The name itself reflects a fascination with duality. The organic and the artificial. Matter and spirit. Agony and desire. What is hidden and what is revealed. It exists in the space where illusion meets reality, where code meets breath.

 The music is written by guitarist Ivan Lozovskyi, developed together with drummer Dmitry Kim, and grounded by the low-end foundation of bassist Tata Early.

 Eugene S. Robinson became the first voice to inhabit this world. Across the project’s first two releases, he helped define its character and identity. He wasn’t simply another guest vocalist. He became part of the mythology from the very beginning.

 This project was never meant to be a traditional band. It was always more like a meeting point. Different people, different backgrounds, different voices entering the same space for a moment.

 And then leaving something behind.
